We have forty-four apartments at five addresses. Four are in Mitte, one is in Prenzlauer Berg. Guests usually choose on photographs, which is reasonable, but the differences that actually affect a stay are elsewhere — the size of the building, whether there is a lift, and how close you are to a station.
The five
- Oranienburger — twenty-three apartments. Our largest building, and the only one with a lift. It has our own restaurant on the ground floor, plus two Asian restaurants and an Italian one. If you are travelling with heavy luggage, arriving late, or would simply rather not carry a case up stairs, this is the address to ask for.
- Große Hamburger — fourteen apartments. A quieter street a short walk east, in the same part of Mitte. No lift.
- Rungestraße — four apartments. Small, near the river in the south-east corner of Mitte. No lift.
- Brückenstraße — two apartments. The smallest of the Mitte addresses. No lift.
- Prenzlauer Allee — one apartment. Our only address outside Mitte, in Prenzlauer Berg. A different feel — residential, low-rise, more neighbourhood than centre.
The things that are the same everywhere
Every apartment has free high-speed WiFi, a desk, an iron, a coffee and tea maker, a microwave, a flat-screen television and a hairdryer, and a washing machine in the apartment or in the building. Smoking is allowed on the balcony only, in the apartments that have one, and not at all in the rest.
Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out by 11:00, but check-in itself is available twenty-four hours a day and is private — you let yourself in with a code, so a 02:00 arrival needs no arrangement with anyone. Early arrival and late departure can be requested.
There is an underground garage in the building — ask us about a space.
The things worth asking about before you book
Pets are welcome on request. Children of any age are welcome; children aged four and over are charged as adults. There is no minimum age for check-in. Parties are not allowed.
Our cancellation terms vary by accommodation type, so check the terms shown for the specific apartment you are booking rather than assuming.
We speak German and English.
The short answer
If you want the easiest arrival, ask for Oranienburger — it is the only building with a lift and it has food downstairs. If you want quiet, the smaller Mitte addresses give you the same district with fewer neighbours. And if you would rather feel like a resident than a visitor, Prenzlauer Allee is the one.
